make up ideas

i know that i am not the worlds best artist but i have scribbled down a few ideas so that i am ready when i am shooting with the models. i will be testing these ideas out as my main makeup ideas are not really make up but card decorations and cake toppings.



here i plan to use eye lash glue to stick silver balls (used for decorating cup cakes) to a models face, this is something i have seen in my research and would be interesting to try myself.

here i am planning to use black sticky gems that i have bought and i have shown two different ways of presenting them on the models face. i think that this would best on a model with dark eyes and darker skin.

here i have drawn some different ideas, they may be silly and i also may not be using them but i thought it would be best to document these anyway just in case i decide to use them. the first two drawings is is lips decorated with either glitters or sugars and the third one is decorated with long ice cream sprinkles.

here are lips decorated with coloured stick on gems but its different way to give two very different looks. one full lipped look and one more cute, geisha almost looks. (this also features my nephew's drawings of what appears to be a ghost and a cat, this will not be featuring in my work)

here i have drawn eyes, the first to be decorated with coloured gems to give a colourful looks, the second to be decorated with sugars that i have coloured myself and the third is a second drawing on the silver cake toppings but with the possibility of only decorating around the eye its self.

this first eye will be decorated first with black eye shadow and then covered with silver decoration glitter to give a metallic look. the image at the bottom will be decorated with a coloured sugar.

i will be testing these on my self and document the results. i am open to changing the makeup plan depending on the look on the model, i realise that some makeup styles and colours do not suit some people.
